SCANIA held a CSR event “SCANIA DRIVER COMPETITIONS THAILAND 2017”to create competent truck and bus drivers for sustainable transportation
Recently, Scania Siam Co., Ltd. held the final round of the event “SCANIA DRIVER COMPETITIONS THAILAND 2017” which high-ranked executives include Mr. Stefan Dorski, Managing Director (3th from left), Mr. Phuriwat Rak-Intr, Retail Operations Director (6th from left) ”For this year, the winner of the truck category is Mr. Chatchawan Tongchai (pongrawe Co., Ltd.) (4th from left),and one more award for truck fuel economy. In the bus category, for the winner is 1.Mr. Narasak Kanjanapun (Rich & Best Travel Co Ltd.) (5th from left) ,and one more award for the bus category fuel economy. The competition was held at Metro Life Park, Rama 9, Bangkok.
For attended to encourage the competitors. Holding such competition, Scania believes that “driver” is the most important factor to improve transportation efficiency, to reduce pollutions and to improve road safety. The objectives of this competition is to encourage the drivers to become competent and determined under the concept of “4D” which are 1. Dare to Be (a skilled driver) 2. Dare to Change (towards better attitudes) 3. Dare to Do (valuable things) and 4. Dare to Give (to pass the goods onto others).
