Thai Airways International Plc (THAI) invites travelers to Russia as the airline is now commencing a director flight from Bangkok to Moscow.

The national carrier recently brought a group of Thai bloggers and celebrity to experience magnificent of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Mr Vichaya Singtoroj, General Manager for Russian Federation and C.I.S countries, said Russia and 11 neighboring countries in the C.I.S have very high potential for the airline. THAI resumed a direct service from Bangkok to Moscow since December15, 2016 after abandoning this market for years due to economic turndown and hike of oil prices.
THAI is offering Bangkok-Moscow route with four flights per week; on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, utilizing Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
"Many Russian tourists know about Thailand and they often visit the country. Thailand is expected to welcome 1.25 million visitors this year, prompt arrival into Phuket and Pattaya to grow 20-28%. In turn, many Thai tourists will visit Russia mostly to Moscow and St. Petersburg as well as to experience Northern light or Aurora Borealis," Mr Vichaya said.
THAI organized a media fram-trip to Russia during November9-16, visiting many magnificent and famous tourist places in two major cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Mr Potchara Kreangkred, who is running a travel webpage called Baagklong, said Russia is a great country. If offers tourists huge and bigger construction than other countries.
"Travelling to Moscow is taking 10 hours, but personally love St. Petersburg thanks to great heritage buildings. I also impressed Moscow especially St. Basil Cathedral," he said.
Miss Sathita Sorassa, Operator of Travelista webpage and President of Media and Blogger Club, said that Russia is one of most beautiful countries in Europe, featuring many architectures and should not be compared with other countries. Tourists can visit and enjoy Russia all year round. She impressed St. Isaac as the cathedral is built invaluably.
Ms Neeranuit Traijakvanich, a blogger for Trip and Teach and TV host at NBT said Russia has a long-running history that should have been visited and experienced. Most impressive places are the Fortress and St. Peter and Paul Cathedral.
Ms Kanyarat Surtrakul, a professional tourist guide for Russia market said Russia offers visitors various places, ranging from culture to history, Russia doll, vodka, caviar, and also romantic country. With a long diplomatic relations with Thailand for more than 120 years, Russia is a good place to visit.
Thai celebrity Ms Nanthavan Sangthamkitkul, who is also running her own TV program said she feels in love Russia because of great architecture and buildings. The country has an interesting history. She also impressed the Winter Palace or The State Hermitage Museum.
