Dong Eun Kim Appointed New President of NCH Asia

NCH Asia has announced the appointment of Dong Eun Kim as their new President.

Bangkok – NCH Asia has announced the appointment of Dong Eun Kim as their new President. He will assume responsibilities immediately and will succeed David Weiss, who has taken on a new position within the global NCH Corporation.

Dong Eun Kim has been part of the NCH team for seven years, beginning in the Corporate Strategies Department in Dallas, Texas. He was quickly promoted to the Corporate Account Development Manager in Japan, then the Chemsearch Business Manager in Singapore, before becoming the Country Manager of Korea in 2014. In 2016, he was promoted to Regional Vice President, managing Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.  During this time, the NCH business in Korea grew by 39%. Mr. Kim has been instrumental and extremely successful in implementing many of the NCH Asia strategies that have transformed the business, including establishing the unified NCH brand and training a specialized sales force.

We will make sure to develop innovative products and solutions, which meet the needs of Asia’s customers,” said Dong Eun Kim.

Before joining NCH, Dong Eun worked in corporate account sales and corporate development at HP Korea, and the global purchasing department at Sumitomo Chemical. He graduated from Korea University and earned his MBA at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business.
