Outrigger Koh Samui Celebrates 1st Anniversary with Romantic Getaway Deal for Couples

Villa living and suite dreams in Samui for couples from THB6599* (US$185) per night

PHUKET, THAILAND – The Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort has launched a Romance Getaway Package to celebrate its first anniversary on 29 May. The intimate resort with a secluded 300-metre beach is popular with couples and honeymooners.

Bookable until 31 July, the Romance Getaway Package is available for stays up to 23 December 2016. The rate is from THB6,599* (US$185) per couple per night. Guests who book at least 14 days in advance of their stay date receive an additional 20% off.

The Romance Getaway Package comes with an 80sqm (861sqft) Garden Pool Suite, daily breakfast for two, a 60-minute Navasana Spa treatment for two, round-trip airport transfers and complimentary shuttle services to Chaweng and Fisherman’s Village. Oceanfront and Ocean View Pool Suites are also available.

Outrigger took over the former Akaryn Resort Koh Samui last year and enhanced the all-villa and suite resort with renovated restaurants, pool area and rooms. Villa privacy was enhanced to ensure complete seclusion.

Outrigger Koh Samui General Manager Rory Campbell says: “Our renovations have introduced a streamlined, more modern in-villa layout and more seclusion around each pool villa. Feedback from couples wanting to chill out together has been extremely positive.”

While the Outrigger is just a 10 minutes’ drive from Samui airport, it is not near the flight path. For dining, the resort has introduced the Blue Fire Grill which specialises in choice steaks and seafood served in an open kitchen.

For a cultural experience, Outrigger guests can also learn how to give a massage, speak Thai or develop their batik painting, fruit carving and leather etching skills.

Koh Samui is served with direct flights from Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, Pattaya and Chiang Mai.
